Introduction
The sharing feature allows you to securely and efficiently share experts, knowledge databases, and abilities within your organization.
This feature is an important part of our platform as it promotes collaboration and facilitates access to relevant information.
What Can Be Shared?
- Experts: The experts feature enables you to create and use customized AI assistants for specific use cases. Through sharing, many people within your organization can benefit from them.
- Knowledge Databases: With knowledge databases, you can make internal knowledge from your organization accessible to Alan. Through sharing, you can provide broader access to important information.
- Abilities: Abilities extend Alan's functionality by allowing Alan to access internal or external services. By sharing connected abilities, you can ensure that your colleagues also benefit from these extensions.
What Type of Access Is Granted?
Users with whom experts, knowledge databases, or abilities are shared can receive different permissions:
- Use: Users can see the shared resource and use it in their chats. This ensures that your colleagues can benefit from the shared content while keeping the content unchanged.
- Use and Edit: Users can see the shared resource, use it in their chats, and also edit it. This allows you to collaboratively develop and optimize the shared content with your colleagues.
- Use, Edit, Share, and Delete: Users can see the shared resource, use it in their chats, edit it, share it with others, and delete it. This comprehensive permission enables full collaboration and joint management of the shared content.
For each share, you can individually specify which users receive which permissions.
