This Admin Guide will walk you through the essential settings and configurations to ensure that your tenant can make the most out of Alan's capabilities.

Who Should Use This Guide

This guide is intended for system administrators, IT professionals, and other personnel responsible for managing the Alan platform in your organization. It assumes a basic understanding of system administration and familiarity with your organization’s IT infrastructure.

You need the role alan-admin to follow this guide.

Accessing the Admin Settings

In the Admin Settings, you can configure tenant settings and monitor usage as an admin. Follow these steps to navigate to Alan's admin area:

  1. Log in to Alan:

    • The admin interface is accessed via the Alan UI. Therefore, open your web browser and navigate to Alan (https://app.alan.de).
    • Log in as you would normally when using Alan.
  2. Access the Admin Dashboard:

    • Once logged in, you will be directed to the main interface.
    • Look for the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the interface. Click on this icon to open the settings menu.
    • Select Administration area.
