Introduction

The Experts feature is a powerful tool that allows you to create and utilize customized AI assistants for specific use cases. With this feature, you can tailor the behavior of the language models to meet the precise needs and requirements of your business or team.

For example, you can provide instructions on how Alan should respond and what information should be considered for the response. Especially for recurring tasks, it is worth relying on experts who master specific tasks and are precisely tailored to your needs.

Experts can be shared within your organization, so that an expert can be used by many colleagues.

This section provides an introduction to using the Experts feature and managing experts.

How do experts work?

Experts are defined by a combination of settings that control their appearance and behavior. This includes:

  • System Prompt: Specific background information and instructions that help Alan understand how to respond to certain requests.
  • Initial Conversation: A fixed sequence of messages that simulate a chat and serve as a template for Alan's answers. This allows Alan's behavior to be calibrated for specific use cases.
  • Knowledge Databases: Data sources that Alan uses for the responses.
  • Models and Model Parameters: The underlying AI model and the specific parameters that affect its performance.
  • Prompt Suggestions: Examples of prompts that users can enter in chats with the expert.
  • Visual Elements: Title, description, greeting text, and icon that identify the expert within the platform.
